Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Fantix event ticketing platform ("Platform"), operated by Fantix ("we", "our", "us"). By purchasing a ticket or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. The Platform

Fantix provides technology infrastructure that enables event organizers ("Organizers") to create events and sell tickets. Fantix is the technology provider — it is not the event organizer, promoter, or sponsor of any event listed on the Platform.

We are not liable for the content, quality, safety, or cancellation of any event. All obligations to attendees regarding the event itself rest with the Organizer.

2. Your obligations as an attendee

By purchasing a ticket through the Platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information during checkout, including your email address.
• Not transfer, resell, or duplicate QR-code tickets in a manner that enables fraudulent entry.
• Comply with the Organizer's event rules and policies on the day of the event.
• Use a valid payment method and not initiate fraudulent chargebacks.

3. Payments

All payments are processed by Razorpay and are subject to Razorpay's terms and conditions. Fantix does not store payment card or UPI credential data.

The total amount charged at checkout includes the ticket price and any applicable platform booking fee. This will be clearly shown before you confirm payment.

Where the Organizer is GST-registered and the ticket price exceeds ₹500, GST applies to the ticket price at the rate prescribed by law and is shown separately at checkout — it is the Organizer's own tax, not Fantix's. Tickets priced at ₹500 or below are not subject to this GST. Fantix does not issue a tax invoice to attendees; the Organizer remains responsible for their own GST filings on ticket sales.

4. Refunds and cancellations

Each ticket type has a cancellation policy set by the Organizer, shown on the event page before you buy: non-cancellable, cancellable with no refund, partial refund, or full refund. A cancellation window (a cutoff before the event start time) may also apply — check the ticket type's terms on the event page.

Where cancellation is allowed, you can cancel from the link in your ticket confirmation email or from your Fantix account — no Organizer approval is required. Cancellation and any refund are processed automatically by Fantix through Razorpay. Refunds typically appear in your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

The Platform's commission and the payment gateway's processing fee are never refunded — they are incurred at the time of sale and are not recoverable. Any refund is therefore calculated on the ticket's face value, minus the gateway fee attributable to that ticket. A ticket that has already been checked in (its QR code scanned for entry) cannot be cancelled or refunded. Cancelling one ticket in a multi-ticket order does not cancel or affect your other tickets in that order.

If an event is cancelled by the Organizer, all attendees receive an automatic full refund of the amount charged, including any GST collected on the ticket price — no action is needed from you.

5. Tickets and QR codes

Your ticket and QR code will be delivered to your email after payment is confirmed. Keep this email — it is your proof of purchase. Each QR code is unique and single-use; it will be marked as used upon entry.

Fantix is not responsible for tickets lost due to an incorrect email address provided at checkout.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fantix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to event cancellations or payment failures.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
